Rudy: New Judy prob, new pressure for Sun. 'Meet'
Not a good day for Rudy. Following up on an ABC tipoff last week, the Daily News reports that Judith began getting security/travel services from NYPD before her affair with Rudy became public in 2000.
First, it's now hard for him to argue that she faced security risks because she was his mistress before anyone knew that she was his mistress. Second, after struggling to contain last week's stories about the accounting treatment of security costs for his visits to her on LI, this should jump the story into an easy-to-understand tale of misusing city money. Third, it comes at a time when he is showing weakness in some polls, and will increase the pressure on him for a scheduled Sunday 'Meet the Press' appearance.

Let's see if he can answer the "tough" question straight up and to the point and not dance around it. However it's all dependant on him being asked the tough questions and not being thrown to underhand like in a pee wee division little league game. Let's see.
