Another deputy to Nassau County Executive Thomas Suozzi is jumping ship.
Chief Deputy County Executive John Donnelly submitted his resignation last week after accepting a job at a Manhattan head-hunting firm. Starting next month, Donnelly said he will be a managing director at Jay Gaines & Co., a well-regarded retained executive search firm.
Suozzi will have another top staff opening in January. Deputy County Executive Tim Driscoll won his bid in last Tuesday’s election for state Supreme Court justice.
