In Suffolk, Democrat Brian Beedenbender has emerged as the unofficial winner for the 4th Legislative District seat being vacated by the term-limited Republican Joe Caracappa. With all other incumbencies apparently intact, the Democrats are poised to extend their majority to 11-7.
Beedenbender said he knocked on 10,000 doors. Quote from reporter Erik German: “My legs are tired, my feet hurt, I have bad knees, but it was all worth it."
Maybe we should call him Unbeaten-bender.

The Democrats re-elected Marion Barry (Elie Mystal) in Amityville - at his Victory party he gets drunk (again) and makes a scene spouting racist comments and no one says a word.....Yes, the Democrats won the election and increased the number of seats they hold....but in the process they sold their soul and in the end that is what matters.....Remember that the beginning of the end for this Democrat Administration occured at what should have been a very happy moment for them.
