Some Saturday reading on the two local presidency seekers:
The NYT has a long story on Bernie Kerik's rise, and Rudy Giulaini's failure to notice his ethical problems. But its not obvious there's anything dramatically new.
On the Clinton front, reporting on licensing illegals and playing the gender card seems to have shifted to questions about her shielding her WH records as First Lady. First, go here to watch Bill Clinton angrily complain that Tim Russert's debate question was misleading -- but read the whole item and the transcript of Russert, because actually Bill has some of his facts wrong.
Here's a story that says some of Hillary's WH schedules will be released early next year, unless Clinton lawyers block them. Here's a just released memo from Clinton lawyer Bruce Lindsey, who reviews records proposed for release.
Here's the Newsweek story this week that kicked off the latest fuss, including a link to the letter from Clinton (waved by Russert) asking that communications with Hillary remain secret until 2012. Here's a memo from Obama complaining about Clinton's failure to release more.

Bernie the gift that keeps giving. This is the guy that walked around the Correction Department and Police Department and warned people every day that they "better not do anything that might embaress this mayor!" At the end of the day Bernie turns out to be the ultimate embaressment for the mayor.Bernie just brought the culture of corruption from his home state in NJ and let it run rampant behind a badge. Once convicted or copping a plea will Commissioner Kelly invalidate his pistol permit and refuse to issue him a 2008 NYPD parking plaque that he uses to park freely all over NYC. This guy is a perp plain and simple. Bernie should try putting his hand in his pocket and pay for something like the rest of the world.Bernie if your reading this understand all the people that you harrassed and abused that had to standby while you and your cohorts raped and pilaged the integrity of the job will continue in our united effort to expose you and them and force the hand of the prosecutorial agencies that turned a blind eye to your corruption to finally put you behind bars where you belong.
