Hillary: I'm an economic expert too!!!!! (Updated)

Sen. Clinton -- of the First Ladyship, the failure on health care reform, the if-only-I-knew-then Iraq vote and the licensing illegals reversal -- is back to talking about her deep reservoir of "strength and experience" in a stump speech on the economy in Iowa:

"The next president will be a steward of our economy at a time when the bills from eight years of neglect and mismanagement will be coming due. He – or she – will have to turn our nation and our economy around. More than ever before, our workers will need good job training for the jobs of this new century. But there is one job we can’t afford on-the-job training for – our next president."

Barack Obama, elsewhere in Iowa, responds: "My understanding is that she wasn't Treasury secretary in the Clinton Administration."

Update: We've also come across this article about Sen. Chris Dodd's wry observations on Hillary's preparedness, including the claim that her 1993 health care flop equipped her to succeed: "If repeated failure is an advertisement for the presidency, then George Bush should be considered the greatest American president in history."

Any chance one of you guys might take the time to read the report and honor us unwashed with some idea of what's inside it. Maybe after the tough-guy sarcasm and opponent hits you could find an expert to comment on the substance. Imagine that, newspaper pros interested in substance. Or should we leave that to TV and radio or even amateur bloggers?
