In his appearance at Harlem's Apollo Theatre last night, Obama was introduced by comedian Chris Rock. Newsday's account:
"Rock acknowledged Hillary Clinton's popularity in Harlem but urged the crowd to choose Obama instead. 'Because we'd be real embarrassed if he won and we wasn't down,' he said, imitating a Hillary supporter saying ruefully, 'I had that white lady. What was I thinking?' "
It was quoted everywhere. But, just to be a little provocative: Remember when a supporter called Clinton a "bitch" in front of John McCain, and McCain caught some flack for not denouncing it quickly and sharply? Well, is this different? Obama gets a pass when a supporter injects a little dash of race into a joke in Harlem? Can Hillary laugh if a supporter makes a joking reference to the "black guy"?

McCain's supporter wasn't funny.
Chris Rock has always been then the balck supremist and he gets away with it...obama exploits the fact that Rock gets away with it which makes them both extremly dangerous....
Chris Rock is a racist? Oh, come on now. He's a COMEDIAN. He's supposed to be FUNNY. If you don't like his humor, then don't watch him. I'm a white guy who happens to think he's hilarious.
Rock isn't funny either, at least not this time. Why mock someone for supporting someone of a different race or gender? What ever happened to "there isn't a white American and a black America, there is a United States of America."
