A couple of Clinton clarifications
The Clinton camp has cleared up a couple of issues:
First, Bill Clinton's speech yesterday in which he noted that "the boys" were being tough on Sen. Clinton was not an attempt to play the gender card. The Clinton campaign is counting on strong support from women but it does not play the gender card and Hillary is not running as a woman. Bill Clinton, instead, was just using "southern vernacular." He is from Arkansas.
Second, Hillary Clinton may appear calculating, but it's because she's so idealistic. The way it works is this, she explains in an AP interview: She cares deeply and passionately about issues, but the "pragmatist" in her requires her to engage in a certain amount of triangulation and shape shifting to build coalitions and achieve things in the real world.
So now, next time you see her evade, sidestep or flip-flop on an issue, you'll understand: "I see it as harnessing my passion to actually get results and make a difference in people's lives."

Did Hillary really say that? Does she take us for total IDIOTS? At least Barack Obama talks straight and doesn't equivocate. I'm looking for a candidate who stands by his/her convictions and isn't driven by the lastest poll numbers -- I"m also sick and tired of "triangulating". This is one more New Yorker who's decided to vote for Barack, a candidate who'll bring about REAL change!
