Rep. Israel, Independence chief parley: state, local focus

Perception and substance sometimes vary in Washington, they tell us. When Congressman Steve Israel introduced Independence leader Frank MacKay of Suffolk to the New York delegation, the Bloomberg speculation came up among those who learned of it. But Israel and MacKay say there was no connection between the two. More here.

And what use to these elected officials is phoney little Frank MacKay. He can't deliver his line in a Primary to anyone, he can't give them financial support and he is a polarizing figure whose party has no platform. The people in New York have got his number and so he has a phoney convention with no elected delegates and has himself elected national chairman. Get out of town MacKay you are destroying the Independence movement.
