The district attorney investigation of Choppergate is turning out pretty much as expected with Spitzer and company cleared of criminal wrongdoing and apparently starting to feel their oats again with more "move on with business" talk. Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno is expected to fan the embers with statements today.
On that note, Deputy Majority Leader Dean Skelos drew attention with a proposal that involves making all teachers state employees. The ins and outs are interesting, though of course all sweeping change proposals are longshots at the beginning.
