The Daily News presents a decent summary point/counterpoint today on what the next few months may hold for the former mayor. To a great degree it will boil down to which Republicans show up to vote in the primary -- and it will test assumptions about the mind-set of the party nationwide. Those who covered his mayoralty might find it easier to imagine him winning, but perhaps are myopic when it comes to the nation at large. But those who cover Washington have a Beltway distortion of their own to overcome. He has gotten decent odds on the professional betting sites, if that means anything at all....

Rudy is through or soon will be in this race for the Presidency.
Although he has furthered his name recognition to the rest of the country. The worst is yet to come with the "Opposition Researchers" doing their homework.
No contest, Unless there is another fight for the heart and soul of the GOP Party ......Liberal Wing -Vs- the Conservative Wing .....AKA Reagan -Vs- GH Bush (Rockefella Republicans) in the 80's...Which I do not see happening as it is proven over and over again that you need base vote to make thing s happen in national politics.
Don't cry for Rudy....Rudy has made many of corporate connections on his travels across America. When all is said and done, he will come out on top in the corporate world with proceeds for his company in the private sector.
