Rudy's Electable, But Can He Win?

On the campaign trail and in debates, Rudy Giuliani presents himself as the most electable Republican in the race for the White House. It's an argument that many Republicans seem to buy, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll. Giuliani is considered the great GOP hope for president by nearly half of those surveyed, putting him well ahead of his rivals, the Washington Post reports. Still, the former New York City mayor faces skepticism for his liberal stands and personal foibles, and may have a hard time winning the Republican nomination. Meanwhile, in a separate article Giuliani makes a plea for voters to focus on his record, not his personal life.
