Who says Mayor Mike doesn't get along with state legislators? In fact, the mayor has been quite generous in his advice to lawmakers in the wake of the -- well, the wake for -- his congestion pricing program.
Take for example this tip, offered at a news conference this morning after a reporter asked Mayor Bloomberg about those pesky Senate Democrats who blanched at the idea of supporting a controversial plan like congestion pricing they feared could be used against them in the next election cycle by Republicans who, they also pointed out, have been told they can count on the mayor's deep-pocketed support.
"I can't believe that they would actually say to you that their vote depends on political support rather than what was right for the people they represent," the mayor huffed. "I have said that if you do what's right for New York City, I'm going to support you - or what I think is right...It should not have anything to do with party affiliation."
Oh well, now that he's explained it...

Mayor Bloomberg is for the rich and doesn't see his congestion pricing plan hurts the working Joes in NYC. If his plan goes thru so does inflation. It'll be passed along to consumers once the trucks and cars gets taxed to go into Manhattan for deliveries. Shame on the Mayor! I'll not vote for this kind of mayor that taxes his way out in everything he does. His records speaks for itself: Tax and more Tax.
