Spin Cycle

If this dispatch is right, Newt Gingrich has gone sour on the whole GOP field, professing that this tempts him to join the race. Which is odd when you consider that just a little while ago Gingrich co-authored a published piece with a guy who is the former mayor of New York and front-running Republican candidate -- outlining what they called the possible path to a winning strategy in Iraq. The piece probably helped Giuliani's creds. Had Newt figured on Rudy fading by now?
