And The Winner Is ....

The tv talking heads seem to think it was McCain's night -- everyone from Arianna Huffington on CNN to Pat Buchanan, of all people, on MSNBC. Because he stood his ground on immigration, against all comers.

As for the blogroll....

Everybody at National Review's Corner seems to be in love with Rudy.
The Fix, aka Chris Cilizza, at the Washington Post thought Rudy got the biggest applause line for attacking -- who else? -- the media.
Sargent at TPM catches Rudy in el flippo floppo -- he used to be against English as an official language, but nada more when he was asked tonight.
Red State is loving Mike Huckabee, for describing Fred Thompson as "Mighty Mouse," and other reasons.
Time's Swampland thinks Romney was the loser, and think it's pretty hilarious in a pathetic kind of way that none of the Senators running for president, D or R, bothered to read the intelligence before voting for war in Iraq.
There seems to be a difference of opinion on Rudy's abortion answer getting interrupted by lightning. Some of the TV talkers seem to think it will be taken as a sign of God's displeasure, but Martin at the Politico takes it as divine intervention in Rudy's favor.
Hugh Hewitt disagrees with McCain on immigration, which means he loves Mitt and Rudy and thinks McCain is toast. But Andrew Sullivan calls it "McCain's Night."
The Powerline crew -- surprise, surprise -- thought the real message here was that the Dems were childish on Monday, but Republicans were adult and manly, and the manliest men were Rudy and John.
Instapundit says: "The more of these debates they have, the smarter it is for Fred Thompson to stay out as long as possible."

I have been a dedicated democrate since I can vote, however it looks like I may have to change. Rudy Giuliani seems to be the man. He is able to stand by his convictions and he is not afraid to stand up to religious pressure. We need a person in the White House who is looking to protect the American Constitution without regard to what Bible you read. This country was built on the separation of Church and State and we need a person who is willing to stand up and say how I deal with God is between me and God and noone elses business,to keep it that way.

Freedom is more important than security

More or less nothing seems worth doing. I've just been letting everything wash over me lately. I just don't have anything to say lately. Shrug. I can't be bothered with anything lately.
