Spitzer Campaigns Again

Gov. Eliot Spitzer travels to Nassau County tomorrow to give voters his side of the dispute over the campaign financing system. He is visiting the districts of members of the Senate GOP majority -- which has scuttled some of his proposals to change the rules governing the funding of elections.

He also has an abortion-rights speech scheduled for 12:30 p.m. in Manhattan.

UPDATE: Spitzer is expected to disucss his "campaign finance and reform agenda for One New York" at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at President Theodore Roosevelt's Sagamore Hill home in Oyster Bay - in the district of Sen. Carl Marcellino (R-Syosset). A spokesman for Nassau County Executive Thomas Suozzi said he would be attending.

Will Eliot be returning any of his own donations?

The thought of Eliot Spitzer talking about campaign reform at our beloved Sagamore Hill repulses me.

It literally turns my stomach. Disgraceful!

What's your concern, Mr. Corrigan? I might not understand the particulars, but I do know that NYS government is awash in corporate cash; the currency with which the people's government is bought and sold. Theodore Roosevelt stood for returning the government to the people, it's rightful owners. Sagamore Hill seems like the perfect place for this conversation.

Hey Corrigan, it's customary to read someone's proposal first so you can make educated remarks. I suspect you've never taken the time to read what the Governor is proposing. If you do, and you still disagree, fine; but comments made out of ignorance are worthless.

Dear NASTY LETTERS and J-Scho. Next time you use my name in a blog make sure you act like men yourselves and show your own.

I am VERY educated in the various proposals of Eliot Spitzer. I am also very well aware of his fund raising. He's a hypocrite. For a modern day politician to grandstand in front of the home of a real stateman is sickening.

And remember, you address me again in a public forum and you better use your God given names!

Standing by my word,
Bill Corrigan

Would you like a little cheese with that wine?

"Ms." Bisges please join us this weekend at the next Long Island Party function. We would love to have you, there will be plenty of wine and cheese.

Please contact us today...we'll send a car for you.

Thank you so much for your invitation Mr. Keyes. I am at this time too far from Long Island to accept.
