Presidential candidates Hillary Rodham Clinton, Barack Obama, Bill Richardson, Joseph Biden and John Edwards have all trooped to the Sheraton New York Hotel this week to speak before Rev. Al Sharpton’s National Action Network.
But in the hotel’s public spaces, such as near the telephones, someone has deposited colorful leaflets urging Sharpton to run again for the White House.
"Draft Rev. Al Sharpton Jr. for President in 2008" is superimposed over a photo of the man himself shaking hands as a U.S. flag waves in the background. On the reverse is a quote from Sharpton about the importance of combating inequality.
The leaflet also refers the reader to a Web site.
Maybe the declared candidates should have stayed home.

The Reverend Al Sharpton, needs to continue doing what he does best, and thats creating trouble among black folk and wanting the media attention. He will never become the president of the United States. The last time he ran for president the Republican paid him to run to split the Black votes. He knows he can't win so why enter the race. I myself as an African American, I would never vote for him. If he jumps into the race, he will be fighting a losing battle.
I say to the Preacher, do what the Lord call you do, and that's to preach the GOSPEL.
Never forget Tawana!
