Rudy's 'Right' on the Web
Rudy Giuliani’s campaign debuted a new web video
today that’s sort of Rudy’s Greatest Hits, snippets from campaign speeches highlighting his main themes, cutting taxes and keeping people safe. His campaign manager Mike DuHaime writes a letter in an e-mail fundraising pitch accompanying the video, saying Rudy is "the right man at the right time" for America.
The Associated Press has a little Rudy news today, noting that when Giuliani’s campaign released a list of more than 100 New Hampshire supporters last week, it included a handful of people who, um, aren’t actually supporters. Take Wendy Stanley Jones, named a state co-chair for Women for Giuliani – she told AP she’s considering Giuliani but also might stay out of the race because of a busy schedule. The campaign called it a "regrettable oversight" -- and surely in no way meant to puff up its list a bit as a way to counter John McCain’s presidential campaign announcement in the state last week.
