Obama Disputes Giuliani Claim

Presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani's assertion in New Hampshire that the U.S. would be "waving a white flag" by electing any Democrat as the next president might be seen as a predictable partisan prediction. And so it is prompting -- what else -- a predictable partisan response from Democrats.

Good on Obama. Rudy's taking a page from the Karl Rove playbook here, and I hope he keeps it up. Republican fear-mongering is an old trick that cost them big in '06. These guys can't handle the War on Terror; they made a whole new flock of terrorists by invading Iraq with no plan. It's about time Democrats stood firm.
