Hillary Rodham Clinton didn’t seem terribly eager to chat with reporters in a Senate office building this afternoon and turned to step into an elevator after answering one scribe's question about Rudy Giuliani.
As Clinton and entourage headed into the elevator they found it occupied, inexplicably, by a man holding two panting, elderly poodles on a leash. Clinton, for a split-second, faced the unpalatable choice of the wolf pack or the poodle pack.
Fortunately, a third way opened up when a tourist asked to have her picture taken with senator. The reporters stepped aside, the flashbulb flashed, a fresh elevator arrived and Clinton was gone.
