Here's the first of the ads from the health-care lobbyists/advocates opposing Spitzer's budget cuts. Does anybody find it a twist that the Senate Republicans are on the side of the public unions and non-profits seeking to restore spending against a Democratic governor's fiscal austerity -- or is that so predictable in the world of partisan maneuvers that it's not even worth mentioning any more?
