Craig Johnson was a particularly strident proponent of Nassau County's Domestic Partner Registry, which had been defeated in the County Legislature. Mr. Johnson also promised to be the Robin to Governor Spitzer's Batman. So, the Ad is not entirely baseless, insofar as Mr. Spitzer supports gay marriage and Mr. Johnson seeks to be his "personal side kick" in Albany. Mr. Johnson played it like "rough trade" with his misleading ads about Stem Cell research. Guess, he can't take the heat when he is blasted on a liberal social position of his which is unpopular.
Johnson and Spitzer's position on marriage equality for all New Yorkers is not unpopular. In fact, a majority of New Yorkers are now in favor of it. And tonight we are one step closer to achieving it. Nassau voters are too savvy to fall for hysterical campaign literature against gay people's rights. Good job voters! Go Craig Go!
Bogsted will probably lose his job over this.
Actually Bogsted should get an award. The Conservative line got more votes than any other third party line! In fact, they got 1,000 more votes than the WFP line.
Bogsted should get an award? For losing? Would a guy who hit 3 solo home runs win the MVP award for a game that his team lost 15-3? Not likely. A loss is a loss, no awards for being on the losing team. Sorry, but that's life.
