Lindsay Henry, a Babylon town board member, is the latest potential contender to turn down Republicans who are looking for a nominee to run against incumbent Democrat Steve Levy.
Henry, son of former Suffolk District Attorney Patrick Henry, said he was approached in the last three weeks by town GOP Chairman Tony Pancella. However, Henry said he decided against the run partly because his wife last week delivered a new baby girl - 7-pound, 5-ounce Theresa Ann - and after six years, he is still happy in his job at a town board member.
"It's just not in the stars this time around," Henry said.
