I heard that Phil Nolan is below 50% once all the voters are counted. So directly and indirectly the Integrity Party changed the outcome of this election.

If Iraq wasn't a threat, why did former President Clinton launch cruise missiles on June 27, 1993?

Newsday's editorial board must have renamed "Election Day 2006" to "Black Tuesday" when they saw King took out Mejias by 12%. Even with all the negative press put on King and the positive spin on Mejias by Newsday, Mejias couldn't even get into single digits. Maybe Newsday's circulation is even lower than we all think.

Yes, newspapers have very much lost any influence they could exert on local elections.

Perhaps if Newsday went after Suozzi like they did Hevesi, we, the taxpayers would get reimbursed the funds that he spent utilizing county employees for his romp around the state in his no-win bid for Gov. What about it Newsday; are you going to go after him?
