Democrat Andrew Cuomo, the frontrunner in the state attorney general’s race, this afternoon called the ethics commission report on state comptroller Alan Hevesi's inappropriate use of a state worker to drive his wife around “very, very troubling." Cuomo also said of Hevesi, "This is a man who I've known many years and I'm surprised and shocked at his behavior."
Asked how the scandal would affect Hevesi's job performance, Cuomo said, 'I think it severely compromises his position."

Sorry if I appear skeptical of Andrew Cuomo, but why shouldn't we assume that he will just continue Eliot Snoozer's legacy of law firm protectionism? Not too much of a stretch for him to apply it towards Hevesi.
I think Mr. Hevesi does a great job, here in the town of Brookhaven he has uncovered millions of dollars that the school administrators stuffed in their pocket, you certainly have my vote anytime.when a audit is needed you are the best!! lets see how many millions are recovered from the town of Brookhaven BEFORE Brian Foley came??!!
