Integrity's Intent
The Integrity Party reported this morning that it had submitted about 7,000 signatures on candidate petitions to the Suffolk County Board of Elections. The signatures are in support of Assembly candidate Dan Panico, GOP incumbent county clerk Judy Pascale and county comptroller candidate Robert Olson, who also is a member of the Integrity Party.
The petitions have been challenged but Darren Johnson, the party’s chief organizer, said each candidate had amassed well over the 1,500 signatures needed. Thursday is the final day for filing specific objections to petition signatures.

Panico is running against incumbent Assemblyman Marc Alessi (D-Manor Park). Pascale is opposed by Suffolk Legis. Vivian Viloria-Fisher (D-Setauket). And Olson of Westhampton is attempting to unseat incumbent comptroller Joseph Sawicki, a Republican who has been endorsed by the Democrats.
The Integrity Party gained notice last year when it collected 10,000 signatures for several candidates and played a role in the victory of Vincent DeMarco to be county sheriff. He ran as a Conservative with Democratic support, defeating GOP incumbent Alfred Tisch.

So much for the esteemed legislator, Vivian Viloria-Fisher, platform of running on the integrity line, perhaps the “renaissance” line is more appropriate, certainly is more financially lucrative. Look familiar?:

I'm glad that at least one party is putting up a candidate against Joe Sawicki. Or why hold elections?
Thanks Jim! I realize that my candidacy against Sawicki is even worse than a "David vs. Goliath" scenario. David at least had a sling shot. But, I volunteered to run as the Integrity Party candidate because, well....somebody has to!!!! I find it reprehensible that Sawicki would be so greedy that he would challenge even a tiny party line like ours when he has every other major and minor party endorsement. What's Joe afraid of??? Makes one wonder, doesn't it????

its not even david vs goliath, its a smart man who deserves to be in the position, Joe sawicki. Stop posting a bunch of crap, grow up, stop being jealous. Maybe think about your self before everyone else. Your the greedy, self centered one.
