Usually, when losing candidates part ways with their campaign managers, the political operatives are not seen again for awhile. But Tom Suozzi's bid for governor is not the typical political campaign, to be sure.
A week after Kimberly Devlin's departure as Suozzi's campaign manager, we hear the Nassau County executive will have her at his side as a consultant at Pace University before tonight's televised debate with the frontrunning state attorney general, Eliot Spitzer.
Devlin, who's worked for Suozzi for five years, may be among the people closest to him, including his wife Helene, in the "Green Room," where candidates wait before the debate. Call it a long goodbye.

What does it say about Tom Suozzi that he wants a despicable human being like Kim Devlin by his side. She will do or say anything to destry Suozzi opponents, even if she has to make it up. A new X-rated movie for Nassau: The "Devlin" Tom Suozzi.
