Al Gore’s coming to Arkansas too.
As previously reported here, Rudy Giuliani is treading on Hillary Rodham Clinton’s old home turf with a trip to the Little Rock area next week – four days before Clinton herself is scheduled to speak in the northern part of the state.
Now the Arkansas Democrat Gazette reports that Al Gore will be addressing Wal-Mart execs about global warming at the company’s HQ in Bentonville. (That’s a mini-slap at Clinton, a former Wal-Mart board member who has turned on the world’s largest retailer with a vengeance, slamming the company for failing to help pay employee health costs.)
The paper reports that Gore may also stop by a screening of his movie "The Inconvenient Truth" in Fayetteville, home of the Clinton family’s first homestead, now the Clinton House Museum. No word if he’ll pony up his five bucks and tour the house.
