I love this new flier. It is just wonderful! I hope it helps bring Vivi home.

I agree with Sedona. It catches your eye immediately and it's so well done. Vivi, time for you to go home.

I especially like it where it says "Owners Heartbroken." The wording is perfect.

Yes, it pulls at the heart strings and that's what is needed.

I like the new poster. It says it all with fewer words and grabs your attention. I just lit candles and there are only 29 lit for Vivi. We have to get that number up.
The Today Show had a segment on Barbaro this morning. He is beating the odds and is being watched very closely. He is so beautiful. It gives one cause to hope for miracles.

I must agree - this poster is very nice - sure hope it works - Gads Vivi is a beauty - that picture is wonderful.

With new flier/poster downloads, it would be nice to include an address for out-of-towners to send them to for those that are new or have lost the mailing information.

I know I'm being negative, and I hope I'm completely wrong, but at this point I just don't see Vivi ever being found/ located and returned to her owner. She hasn't even been seen in a LONG time. If she's even alive, how is anyone going to catch her at this point. I had real hope during the spring and summer that something might happen. Going into Winter #2, the hope is vary sparse.

Ellisonx,

She's a hard girl to find that's for sure. But one day she'll be caught, maybe by chance, but it will happen.

If Vivi is seen foraging for food or reported to take food from someone or believed to be eating from a feeding station you need 1 or 2 calm quiet people to get to that spot for at least 2 hours before and after the time she was seen everyday. They should sit there with a little bit of food scaterred out near them and more in their hand. They should be quiet or sing the same calm song quietly everyday. If they think she is near do not look or move just let her come and leave, be there again the next day. Do not have a leash or rope in sight. You have to make friends with her slowly or she is not going to be caught. It has to be someone who will resist the urge to grab at her as that will only make her more distrustful. They could start using her name and other familiar words or a toy to gain her trust and do not reach for her let her come to you.

I too believe that she most likely is caught and could be with someone sort of close to the search (but none of our gals) maybe just someone who follows it and reads the blog and maybe even post fliers on occassion. They do take her out and about and maybe they will find it in their hearts to send in a photo or send an e-mail, but since so much can be traced these days and there's so much emotion surrounding Vivi, that seems highly unlikely at this point. Maybe this is just one of those things where we never will have closure but I sure hope one day we find out. And the alternative is not very attractive so I do hope that Irene is making a very good point.

I heard too that many AC said she was dead. But I don't believe that. I'm not getting much on her these days - just snippets and that is why I think she is caught in addition to a few other things. She really doesn't need AC's anymore.

As for me, I will never think she is dead until I see her body and until then I only believe the best and have received nothing as far as "death" energy but that is me. I guess we all have our opinions. Most likely she is caught and what I am getting, that I don't post about, could be either a dog that is caught or free, but I think probably caught which is a supposition on my part. And maybe just refusal on my part to think or believe the worst for her brave little soul.

And if something has happened to her, as I know it does to stray and lost dogs, then she is in heaven looking down on us all and thanking us for loving her so much.

Trying to interpret AC's energy is not easy. But I don't believe she is dead. She could have had a mishap and that is how someone got her - hard to tell.

But there was a big accident on the street that runs by St. Johns cemetery and I believe a dog died there - a friend of Vivi's. And I believe that is the energy the other AC's picked up on.

Thanks Linda, I do not feel that she is dead,
but I do think someone has her

I spoke with Gail T. and she believes the visions I have are of a dog that is free roaming and not caught - and then at times I think Vivi is caught because that makes more since but in any event she is alive and well. I get no doomsday energy from her. I do hope I am right about this.

I too have felt that she is caught. I see her going on walks, and running at times too, but that can be on a long lead or in a place that is fenced but "big" area.

But I do sense that she is safe. Because when she is scared or in danger, then she is worried and concerned and she connects with me. And by not connecting, I do believe that is a good sign.

At some point a couple of weeks ago, I got that Vivi was going to be moved - or the people that had her might be moving her away.

I don't meditate on her as often these days as I needed a break. And what I had been getting could be anywhere or anything and just wasn't too helpful. But I did believe that she was near the water, and not a lake, but more where bridges are located.

There have been times when I worried for her safety. Now she is safe. I am certain of this.

I believe that accident with the dog dying confused the other AC's and could have confused me too if it were not for remembering Hal the Coyote. When Hal died I thought it was Vivi that had died and then hearing the next day about the caged Coyote passing, and it made sense. Poor Hal. And Vivi came through again.

So it isn't helpful for every doomsday thought or vision to be shared as it just creates confusion and doesn't in the end help Vivi at all. Some of these visions need to be filed away to see how they fit in the context of reality. All of it has to be checked with reality and what the searchers discover to be true.

I will repeat myself. Doomsday visions are not helpful. The searchers have a tough job of listening to all this stuff and sorting it out. How could they possibly act upon every little AC prediction or fear?

It is only because Gail T. or Debbie or Darlene has said - Oh yeah we saw that. Or there was a big accident on that street...etc. Visions and predictions only make sense when they can be verified in the real world of real day by day events. Otherwise it is just info. that needs to be stored away for a future to see if something fits into the Vivi puzzle of events. And sometimes, it does. But only because the foot soldiers have said so. Otherwise, I don't have a clue what is real or not. And neither do any of the other AC's. They might say they do, but they don't. The ones that really know and can make sense of things are the women walking the Vivi beat.

And if the trackers come in and don't find a scent, that doesn't mean that Vivi is not around. Maybe she just moved to another area. About a two week old scent is the best a tracker can do following a trail unless in the "Rain Forest." And City tracking in a commercial district is even harder. And many dogs aren't trained for it. Search and Rescue teams normally have special dogs trained for city work.

So just because a tracker might not find a scent doesn't mean too much really.

I don't believe any of our Vivi gals have Vivi. And Vivi is not dead.

A few months ago, one of these AC's told me via e-mail that Vivi was dead and it was verified by several other AC's. I fell into apart crying. It was horrible. I really understand how hard it is for the gals in New York. I believe the fisherman saw Vivi at the pond in Forest Park. I believe Vivi was near the golf course in Forest Park and I believe Vivi was turned loose in the Rego Park area. Now, is she caught again - maybe and maybe not. What I get could be either (as Gail T. points out) even though I think she is caught. I think everyone still has to post as if she is free roaming, which is the only thing that makes sense.

I tried connecting with Vivi again this weekend. I didn't get much just alittle bit of stuff (happy stuff) and wished I could be more helpful as to location.

This entire ordeal is filled with disappointment in not knowing. Not having sightings makes us all a little crazy at times.

AC visions posted on this blog also makes people crazy.

All the gals in New York and across the country are doing their best to find and protect Vivi.

One simply has to respect the good judgment of the foot soldiers in doing their best and in not sharing AC gobbledegook, which it can be at times, that will only be harmful.

I don't post my stuff about Vivi or tell the searchers junk that will only hurt the search or them. I have learned to hold back even though sometimes I get fussed at for doing so.

When the other Ac's said Vivi was dead I believed the worst since I had that accident vision. I didn't trust my own instinct. But then I regrouped and went on, knowing in my heart Vivi was alive and well in Forest Park.

Everyone is just trying to do their best and it is not an easy deal for any of us.

I will say that it is easy to pick up death energy if Vivi was around another dog that died - like her friend that passed.

Or another dog that died where Vivi is about.

I agree Sedona, I remember you telling me many times you wanted to hold back things until they made sense or worked into the reality and you could understand them more.

BTW, had an interesting Chinese dinner Friday night. Opened up my fortune cookie, and a very interesting fortune.

"To deal with enemies, you make them your friend."

Dig girl! Martha M and MaryL too! Gotta love ya, and where is my taco salad MaryL!!!!

Also BTW, Tinkerbell just loves egg rolls and beef fried rice. Only thing, she wants to eat all of the beef in that beef fried rice (hee, hee). What a gal! Gotta love her too - and I do!

Kathleen - I still love you gal.

You just can't believe all the AC's out there. But I can always be wrong I know that. So you just listen and think and go about business and see what rings true.

You don't fall apart crying, listen to me who does it too often, and then falld into despair.

Until I see her body I will only believe the best and besides that's what I'm getting. So why should I listen to another AC out there???? But that is JMO.

Sedona, Martha and Mary L - I still love you gals too!

But I may not if MaryL does not remember that Taco Salad from Taco Bell I told her to eat for me!

And what about that amber necklace - Martha, has that guy of yours taken you out to wear that yet? I know you'll be looking fine in that for sure!

sedona - with all due respect, after hunting for months - you DO cry. it's hard hearing anything bad about a poor animal and especially hearing about one you have stared at and prayed for endlessly. i am not going to fight over this. THIS is exactly what was to be avoided. now do you all understand?

Darlene, I know you cry. I said I cried. It was horrible. It was more meant as encouragement than anything else. Like don't despair. I know you cry. Didn't mean to sound like I didn't understand. I not only cried - I became hysterical over the thought of anything happening to Vivi.

Sorry if the words leave a lot to be desired here. I'm working and writing checks and typing with one finger.

I mean, you don't fall apart crying, like I do and then fall into despair. One needs to be strong - it was my own personal experience - trying to be strong and brave in the midst of fear.

I was thinking about me - hearing from the other AC's that Vivi was dead and me saying "It's true, It's true....." and then hysteria follows. So I talk myself into being strong and brave when even I don't feel like it....that's all.

sedona - i am no one's enemy here - despite the underlying crap here today. remember - we all spoke more than once when we were out searching but i am not going to watch us be the whipping boy. if people are stressed about her - choke it up and live with it. i personally have NEVER, since day one come on here to attack anyone. i am not, in the same right, going to be attacked or judged by people i consider to be my friends. think before you speak - you (not YOU personally) may regret what you say.

Queenie what are you doing on this old site, you are confusing me.

Hey Sedona long time no hear, how are things going?
You and us both know the feeling of hysteria , how many times have we talked on the phone deciding where to look,

hello, weenie!!!!!!!!! who art thou? obviously, blindsighted as we are bad girls

Hey, all this thread hopping is confusing me!!! My congested head can't keep up!! Hee!!!
Hello my fellow weenie sisters!! :)

Darlene: uh? I'm missing something here. You gals are the greatest.

I never think any person should be a whipping post. Against my nature.....

So I love you all, Debbie, Darlene, Monica, Kathy from Bayside, and Gail T and all the others I forgot to mention B.J. and all foot soldiers.

Keep on keeping on!

Can we all go to the new post - this going back and forth between three threads is confusing.

Can someone please send me a link for the new flyer in black and white also ? Thanks
