YES YES YES!! I found a New York quarter this morning and even had a Vivi "dream" last night.........strange I know! Amal the Wonder Whippet and Zakara the Azawakh are sending good thought too! COME HOME VIVI!!

I am praying that Vivi will come home. Everyday I keep looking at the updates. I bothers me so much that she is out there alone. I think she is looking for her home and she can'f find it. I hope that within the next few days Jill & Rick will find her and take her home. I wish the best of luck and hope that she will come up to someone for food. I will keep praying for both of you. Held Vivi energetically in the zone---even stayed deep in meditation til noon by time to keep the energy super supported all morning. Working at being in full energy support when the Vivi sightings are at thier peak according to when Jil says Vivi's reoutine takes place. Talked with our Quinn (Vivi's cousin) all evening and let him know that Vivi needs to get back to the area and let herself be found and captured. So now we gear up for the weekend! Will keep energies to bring Vivi back into body on high!!!!!!!!! And supporting the energies of opportunity for the searchers to have a successful catch!!!!!!

This is great news. Seems like she is back on her schedule. Maybe she thought yesterday was Sunday and took the day off.

could someone tell me how far the sighting is from the cemetary

Marty, I can't give you the distance but it doesn't seem far. It looks like she keeps going from one side of the cemetary to the other.

I am here in Ca, but will kick in for the bar fund. You all have done an amazing job!! I wish I could be there to help. I to had a dream about VIVI last night. Both my German Shorthair and Beagle were acting strange last night very restless. I know it sounds crazy but I wispered in their ears to talk to VIVI. My husband thinks I am crazy. I think it may be working. Do you know how hard it is to get a shorthair to sit still let alone wisper in her ear. :)

Hi Paul how are those 4 whippets doing? I told my husband how you and your wife sleep with 4 at times. He say's that would cut down on our heating bill in the winter.... Isn't that a great way to look at it..LOL

The tracking dogs will give us direction. They will snif her out. She is going back to CA soon. All the hard work will pay off.

I'll tell you what. My 22lb whippet can squeeze through a very small opening.

I just saw the ABC segment about Vivi. They did not say do not chase her if you see her, nor did they give the number to call if you do see her. Hopefully, they did give this information on the local news in NY?

No they did not give out any information in New York either. They quickly passed a camera over some flyers in different languages, thats all.

I certainly hope saw Paul. The song by Michael Buble that's called "Home" (one of my favorite songs) came on today and brought tears to my eyes.
All I can think of was Vivi saying "I want to go home, please let me go home".

Julie here in AZ Are you guys saying the TV piece is going to make me cry more? My whippets are already trying to figure out why I'm crying so much. I'm trying to send some of this 80 weather in that direction to help keep Vivi warm.

I keep hugging and kissing my little Kramer, and sending love and comfort through him to Vivi..I't just heartbreaking..

There not giving any information yet on if these dog's have picked up any fresh scents have they? Maybe that will be an updated post for tonight. I hope! I will be off blog at 8:00 my husband needs the computer for a while. I'll check in with all you wonderful people later tonight.

I just mentioned to Irene today about the post I transferred to the current post from a "Michael M" about the possibility of maybe Vivi crossing the bridge and going into the Corona area. I understand this area is a bad area.

If anyone goes there, please be careful. As I mentioned to Irene, someone could post info to set bad traps for people searching. The public is well aware of this post by now. I found it strange there was only the one post from "Michael M." I e-mailed him and received no response as well. Please proceed with caution and realize not all people are good and kind hearted people like the searchers. Someone could post bad information as well.

Losing Vivi is bad enough, but to lose one of the searchers would be aweful as well.

This HUGE part of me feels so lost because last I heard Vivi has not been sighted today ... This other part of me is very HAPPY because Laura is there with her dogs! Hopefully they will go to all the places shes been seen or even suspected to be seen. All I can say is that I know Laura with or without a sighting can still go in all those areas and see if she can get a scent, hopefully a HOT one. Vivi can be anywhere again , total different direction , or maybe not.I really have lots of hope for Vivi to be found . Who said the Journey was better than the destination??? This is not like that at all, we need our destination now , the Journey can keep going but we are ALMOST out of gas... Don't worry everyone Laura is here now and hopefully those dogs can figure out where Vivi is... keep praying and lighting candles . I hope we hear something soon.
One of my favorite songd has a verse that means alot , here it is and just try to stay positive.
When you can't find the light to guide you on a cloudy day , when the stars ain't shining bright and you feel like you lost your way. When the candles lights of home burn so very far way well you gotta let your soulshine just like my daddy use to say . He use to say soulshine is better then sunshine, better then moonshine damn sure better then the rain . People don't mind if I feel this way sometime , gotta let your soulshine shine through the break of day.

We are all special for caring about animals so much and it's because of who we are and the beautiful souls that we were given . STAY strong and know that we will find her.

I agree Chrissy. When the time is right, and God intervenes, we will find her as well as Sniffles and Biggie too. Just keep them in your mind and your prayers.

My most wonderful dreams are of dying, going to Heaven and being greeted by my two grandparents who raised me (and I loved more than life itself sometimes) followed by all the animals the three of us rescued. Move over folks, our reunion is going to take a LOT OF ROOM. I'm sure I will be meeting many of you folks there as well. You are so kind-hearted and care so much about God's little creatures.

I'm glad we're all still on the same page-- both literally and figuratively. God moves in God's time, but we are often required to be His hands and feet-- which is certainly what you people are! Just picture that responsibility! We have to calm and focus ourselves though. He works through us when we acknowledge that we are working for Him, and not doing it through our own power.
But enough with the theology... I saw that Irene was offering her little feline friends as trackers.
My feline buds, McGee and Minou, find treats and all manner of things, but fast as they are I don't think they'd make good trackers. I went to a cat show for a bit this afternoon. There is no working class of cat!
I went to Mass this A.M. and lit a candle. I just hope God plans to let me thank Him for Vivi's return tomorrow!

Hey everyone...I just returned after being out for the stake-out for 11 hours, 7am-6pm. I was paired up with Dina and we went to our assigned "watch" area, where we stayed the entire time except to take two 10 minute bathroom breaks. Everything was pretty well organized and there were "floaters" that had the job of coming to watch our spot for us until we ruturned so there wouldn't be a lapse in time for our stake-out efforts. Dina and I actually had the pleasure of meeting Laurie, who flew here from Califorina to help search for the weekend, she's an awesome person. It was a very cold morning but it warmed up a little bit briefly in the afternoon. It was a very long day and it was frustrating to stay positioned in one place and not move and after the first 4-5 hours we started to get restless of course but we managed to stay until 6pm. Unfortunately there weren't any sightings from any of us that were out there today stationed in our designated spots. Dina and I were watching for about 11 or 12 hours, since 7am and Judy and Barbara got there a couple hours early than us, from like 4:30am-6pm so we were/are all really exhausted. I keep wishing like crazy that one of these times when I get home to tell you all how my day went, how the search went that I will have GREAT news...I just wish it would happen *soon*...

Got to go watch my team play in the NCAA Final Eight against UCLA. I finally graduated with my degree in December 2003 (at 50+), so I must cheer on my team.

For any of you that think it is too late for that degree, it is not. I did it with rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, and met some incredible young people along the way. It was a wonderful experience.

Irene, please call me on my cell with any new developments such as sightings or rescues. I can cheer even louder then! Thanks, and still praying for Vivi, Sniffles and Biggie (and all the others as well).

It was just so incredibly frustrating, but of course just like you, I am not giving up hope either, that will never happen.

Ashley is so sad. It's just too much for her to handle alone. She works 2 jobs and then goes out looking for Sniffie. If anyone cares to Email me I will give you her address and phone Number. Maybe you can send a card or a note and try to cheer her up. She is such a wonderful person and I don't think she has anyone she can lean on. If you want to know her, please read the article Mike Daly wrote about her in the news. I printed it out,at the time, but don't know how to get it on this blog. Maybe someone can post the link.

sounds like we are back to square one....every time we write vivi off she seems to reappear....amazing how one dog can out smart a team of 1000 people..thanks for searching people...we were well represented today...i still believe she will wind up in someones back yard soon...no searchers...no pet detectives and no hunters....some old lady doing her laundry will gate he in the yard..thank you channel 7.....i owe you one....brian

Well Brian that's the way they always said it would be. Hopefully sooner then later.

I hope this is not taken the wrong way. But while Ashely is searching and praying for Sniffles maybe some of the pain could be diminished if she had another dog to care while she is looking for Sniffles she needs that doggies LOVE right now maybe a dog from Bobbie and the Strays. This does not take away from looking for Sniffles it could enhance it in some way.

Brian, thank you for all you've done to make our job easier. The hand-outs were fantastic and the people I met put them in their pockets and said they would keep it handy just in case they see her. A few people actually programed the number into their cell phones as we were talking. Knowing the area I became a free spirit and went around many areas only the locals would know. Plenty of wild turkeys around. I also found a shed that had bedding but no scent of Vivi. If she makes her way to my yard she will be greeted with open paws by my 7 and is welcome to stay here until we're able to get her home, even if I have to drive her myself. As the people who were following me around the area today will testify, Jil, Rick and company, I have a lead foot.

With Ashley working 2 jobs and then going out to look for sniffles, she would have no time for take care of another dog right now. Good idea but I think it would make it harder on her. She would worry about not spending enough time with the new dog or not spending enough time looking for Sniffles.

I don't think it's weird. If my dog was lost, I'd be looking for her and also looking to adopt another. I just can't stand not having the companionship, but that's just the way I am. Ashley might not feel the same way. She may only be able to think of Sniffles at this time. But on the other hand, maybe another dog could help her look for Sniffles since it seems she's pretty much alone.
