Bonnie promised she would go home tonight and rest, but instead she's emailing weekend plans. To wit:
<<The next Vivi Volunteer Search Party will be on Saturday, February 25 starting bright and early at 8 a.m. and continuing throughout the day.
Meet at the Vetport, Cargo Area "C," Bldg.#189, on the N. Service Ct. between Pilot Rd and Cargo Plaza. Please dress warm. Bring a leash, treats, binoculars and flashlight.
We need "Vivi Watchers" and "Vivi Searchers." At this point, we need a sighting.
I cannot thank the Vivi volunteers enough. Whether it was walking around in the airport, driving the various neighborhoods, going out in the freezing weather on foot or by boat, making calls and networking, or sending good thoughts across the miles. It is much needed AND much appreciated!
THANK YOU!>>

I would be there in a heartbeat if only I could. (I'm in Colorado) This will have a happy ending I just know it. Don't give up!
I wish I could be there to search, but I live far away in Florida. My prayers are with everyone. I am heartsick about Vivi and think of her every day.
I am also wishing could be there to help search
tomarrow!!! I live near Chicago, I do pray you find her soon, and safe!!!! I check and look for updates
everday, waiting for her happy ending!!! Good Luck to everyone out there helping!!! Please bring her home soon!!!!
Hi Denise,
I just wanted to thank you for the daily updates on Vivi. I live in California and feel so helpless. I pray that today or tomorrow is Vivi's recovery day. I couldn't imagine going through this with my whippets/boys. This is so heartwrenching. To all the volunteers, friends and family, thank you for not giving up.
MY heart goes to Vivi, owners, searchers and all people involved in this open heart service.
I need to ask you if we should send money to help out with the expenses caused by the search.
Wont be able to send you much but I would certainly like to cooperate.
I am just waiting for the moment when Vivi is found!
All my love,]
Guadalupe Grimaldi
I pray for her safe return every day. For whatever reason, Vivi has touched many lives, from all across the country. I own a whippet and I live in Minnesota and I FEEL for you.
I would like to add $100 to the reward to the finder of Vivi. I know it is not much but I swear, the person that finds Vivi will get a check in the mail. The $100 would be worth knowing that Vivi was home safe and sound - it would be worth a goods night's sleep - for many...
My thoughts and prayers will be with all the searchers on Saturday. I truly wish I could be there to help. I'll be thinking positive thoughts and will search the web sites for the good news!

I am grasping at straws here,I think the reward should be higher. As there have been no sightings, maybe someone has her, god forbid and waiting for more money.
I would also bring sqeaky toys on the search, as most dogs come to them.
Praying she is found, very upsetting to so many people. The cold weather is so scary, besides being lost in such a noisy restricted place.
Please let this have a happy ending!
I would contribute to a reward fund. Please post an address- or perhaps just pledges? Whatever the owners want.
I would like to contribute to a reward fund as well. Have e-mailed Delta Airlines a second time asking that they step up to the plate and fulfill their responsibilities.
If the owners agree and post a place where we can pledge, I will send whatver I can to raise the reward amount...
God bless everyone for not giving up...I feel we will find Vivi...we pray for a happy ending/

Please find Vivi! I now have this website saved and am on it everyday praying that she has been found. I don't have a whippet but do have two little ig's. my heart goes out to you! I wish i wasn't so far away in california! to everyone giving their time and efforts, you are angels....i wish the whole city would join in...
I ALSO WANT TO JOIN THE PLEDGE TO INCREASE THE REWARD. PLEASE POST A PLACE TO SEND PLEDGE MONEY.
many thoughts and prayers from san diego! diane
Will there be a Vivi Volunteer Search Party on Sunday?
I Also would like to pledge money for Vivi's safe return, or for what ever other need to help in the search for her. Please post info. We are praying for you. Rosa
I would also like to contribute to a reward fund. I have e-mailed Bo asking if he has someone who can set this up. Of course, I know he's stretched to the limit right now, but hopefully someone can take care of it for him.
I am considering flying out from CA this weekend but want to make sure there will be volunteers at the posted site throughout the weekend at all hours. I, too, would like to donate money to either increase the reward or to assist the owners with expenses. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Just a thought - and don't know how practical it may (or may not) be - but has anyone considered using the infrared cameras (kind used by fire departments) in the marshes and outlying areas? For example, from a boat in the marshes? I am thinking positive thoughts about finding Vivi every day.
Has any of the searchers considered having an outdoor cookout? I have seen this work to bring animals out of hiding. It seems to me it would be worth a try.
Come on Vivi...
I have an idea that the PA may allow. Since Vivi lives around horses, has anyone considered contacting the NYC Mounted Police to see if any off-duty officers would be willing to search the airport grounds around the fenceline or hangars(with permission from the Port Authority) on their horses. This might also help bring her out of hiding, or at least give an advantage of seeing her from the height of riding a horse. Her owner, Jil, might also be allowed to accompany an officer on horseback. Just a thought that might not be so scary for Vivi. My prayers are for her safe return soon.
Lisa's idea is brilliant. How about The New York City Parks Enforcement Patrol Mounted Auxiliary Unit. As per their web site: The NY City Parks Enforcement Patrol Mounted Aux Unit consists of private citizens who volunteer their time to serve the city by working with the Parks Enforcement Patrol (PEP) branch of the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation. Their website had contact information/email address. Maybe we can all contact them to see if they'd be interested in helping us. If they need funds, we can try to gather donations from those of us who are able to chip in.
What's the update on what the psychic found out when she walked around to try to locate vivi? That poor little girl needs help fast.
Vivi we love you and are desperately trying to find you. Lots of prayers for you honey. Please be home soon.
Laurie, Your idea of the The New York City Parks Enforcement Patrol Mounted Auxiliary Unit sounds good as well, but the problem may be security. The NYC Police probably have higher security clearance than private citizens would. We need people with security clearance to search within the airport grounds. The The New York City Parks Enforcement Patrol Mounted Auxiliary Unit could still be used to search the outer perimeter of the airport though. Just wish I was closer to help myself.
Rosa from Michigan, I will be thinking and praying for all that are helping to find Vivi this weekend. It will be torcher being a work all day and not being able to check in. I wish I could be there to help. Goood Luck! Love and Prayers. Rosa

I believe everyone has spoken of many different and wonderful ways to find Vivi .. would not also the infrared cam's also work in the search in some of those vast buildings mentioned. Has that been done? Just a thought ..
Godspeed Vivi .. our hearts & prayers are with you and yours .. and hope for wonderful news today of you being found!..
Thank You to all that have helped with your support be it searching the grounds for countless hours with your canine support teams, monetarily, prayers, and best wishes. Getting the word out that she is still lost & keeping the public aware that she is still not found .. is a big help in this story .. that we haven't forgotten her!
Thank You for those posting each day as this keeps us informed .. and us to support you with positive thoughts and prayers ..
I think of Vivi everyday and scour the internet for information on the search efforts. I feel so helpless being in Seattle. I am hoping and praying for her safe return. She is missed and she will not be forgotten!
