My dog peed on my tomato plants

... and now they're all dead.

Damn dog.

I'm trying to keep a straight face. ;) It really isn't funny -- you likely have time to start more? I hope so. Bad dog!

Dogs can be such a pain sometimes. I love having my dog with me, but sometimes threaten to lock her outside the fence if she doesn't behave. She always has such a contrite look on her face, that I never do it.

Oh no! Can you put a fence around the area to prevent future "attacks"?

"damn dog"??? it's YOUR fault he has access to your tomato plants... put a low fence around your tomatoes and stop your whining!!

I knew someone else must have experienced this!

My dog peed on my newly planted tomato plant (just one of them). I admonished him and, of course, he looked at me as though I was insane. I poured a couple of gallons of water around the perimeter of my garden, near the corner he whizzed on.

Would pet urine really kill tomato plants eventually?

Sheesh.
