My tomato plant's leaves are curling. What is it trying to tell me? -- Parksville, BC, Canada

RESPONSE FROM JESSICA:

Hey, Marjorie, Curled leaves usually occur after extended periods of rain. Has the weather in Parksville been cool and rainy lately? If so, that's the culprit. The good news is that the plants health and fruit production shouldn't be affected at all. If you've recently used an herbicide in the area, that might also cause the curling. If you think that's the case, just give the plants plenty of water to flush out the chemical. Enjoy -- and thanks for visiting!
