Kim Myles, a hairdresser from Astoria, is the champion of HGTV's "Design Star." She clinched the competition when viewers voted for her colorful redecoration of a Hawaii hotel suite. Now she'll be getting her own decorating show.
Newsday's Carol Polsky caught up with Kim, who reveals her affection for Century 21, blue and yellow color schemes and Fire Island (among other things).
