Episode 3: Quote of the Week

By Mark La Monica

Three episodes into the season and we've got a three-way tie for first place and Drama is nowhere on the list yet. But he's got nine more episodes to make up a one-game deficit in the race for the Big Knish, given to the winner of Best Printable Line.

Episode 3 belonged to Ari Gold. He put the kabosh on his daughter seeing teen actor Max Ballard. His daughter didn't like that and gave him the "I hate you" speech.

Mrs. Ari had a snide remark for Ari about child therapy.

Ari responded, "In this town, as long as I keep her off an 'E! True Hollywood Story,' I've done my job."

Correct, dad.

Some New York partiality here, but I beg to differ on the best line from ep. 2. It comes when the boys are in the Valley, with E and Drama in the back of the Mas. Drama, boiling over, has a towel on his head, and is dripping into the leather upholstery. At which point E says, "Drama, I haven't seen somebody sweat so much since Patrick Ewing retired." (One more NY note: the show lost a lot of credibility in ep 3 when the camera slinked past a Knick jersey on the wall at the house. The problem? The jersey in question was Stephon Marbury's. Every NYer knows that Marbury is a cancer. Anthony Mason or Hawthorne Wingo would have been more in line with the boys' personalities.

I noticed that jersey on the wall... but I'm giving them the benifit of the doubt and hoping at least it was J. Starks.. I'm not sure they showed the name on the back of the jersey... so I'll keep hoping it was my boy Starks..#3!!
