Heath Ledger's Forgotten TV Show
Heath Ledger may be best known for his movie work, but the late Aussie actor first came to Americans' attention on TV.

He was the star of the short-lived Fox series "Roar," which aired from July to September 1997 and was produced by former teen idol Shaun Cassidy.
In this action-adventure series set in 400 A.D., Ledger played Conor, a Celtic Prince who, after his family had been massacred by a rival tribe at his brother's wedding, became the reluctant leader of the local tribes in their fight against the Romans.
The series title came from the moment in the first episode in which Conor was told to "remember all we are and all that's come before and hear the roar... the voice that echoes in every living thing, the power that binds us together." Very sad the way hollywood is eating up the young ones. Too much too fast. Very sad, what a loss.
Wasnt he also on the TV show - Hercules?
I still find it hard to believe that Heath is not with us. His death was so sad and needless. How could someone who seemed to have everything going for him not realize the dangers of combining all those different types of drugs?
He played some wonderful roles and had so much yet to do with his career but playing the Joker and the way they made him look and the evilness of how they made him portray the role seemed to effect him more than we will ever know.
I loved him in the role of Conor in the TV series, "Roar" and only wished it had lasted longer. I loved him in his role as Mel Gibson's oldest son in the "Patriot." He will always be missed by so many of his fans and I am sure his family and friends.
May remain forever in the palm of God's hand.
