"The Simpsons" celebrate all week at 7 p.m. on WNYW/5, starting tonight with the series pilot, "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire," and continuing through "Marge Be Not Proud" (Tuesday), "Miracle on Evergreen Terrace" (Wednesday), "Skinner's Sense of Snow" (Thursday) and "Simpsons Christmas Stories" (Friday).
"Scrubs" [John C. McGinley in photo at right] has two yule outings: Turk's loss of faith (Christmas night at 12:30 a.m. on WNYW/5) and the gang's decidedly unfestive living accommodations (Christmas Eve at 8 p.m. on Comedy Central and 12:30 a.m. on WNYW/5; Christmas Day at 3 p.m. on Comedy Central).
"Matlock" has not one, not two, but three holiday episodes, at 1 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday on WLNY/55.
WLNY also has a Christmas night airing of Frank Capra's "Meet John Doe" (8 p.m. Tuesday).
And Angela Lansbury tracks down a Christmas secret today on "Murder, She Wrote" (11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on BIO channel).
