"The Real Housewives of New York" reality stars Jill and Bobby Zarin not only decorated the Hamptons home of newly divorced Blue Star Jets President Todd Rome, but ex-wife Carol Rome’s as well. It was all done with Zarin fabrics, natch. Todd Rome hosted a private Veuve Clicquot tasting dinner party Saturday night at his Bridgehampton home honoring this week's Hamptons' magazine cover on actress Susan Lucci.

Aspiring designers willing to travel to the ends of the earth for their big break may only have to go as far as the end of Long Island.
Traditional Home magazine and the New York School of Interior Design are joining forces to provide three students with the opportunity to spend their summer internship in Montauk as design protegees working with top designers. The task: Design and decorate a luxury residence at the new Panoramic View Residences.
The challenge is referred to as "Oceans 3: Showhouse Showdown." If this sounds like a title for a reality show — it is. The television special is scheduled to air late 2008. And get this — the residences will host a variety of events this summer and fall, including a partnership with the Hamptons International Film Festival.

Resting on 1.4 acres, this newly constructed traditional home in Sagaponack will be included in the Hampton Designer Showhouse this summer. The listing price is $12.5 million. The 7,500-square-foot residence, which has an additional 3,000-square-foot finished basement, was built “green” with renewable energy components. Designed with extensive moldings and cabinetry, the floor plan includes six bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms, formal living and dining rooms and a chef’s kitchen. Amenities include a pool and a tennis court. The listing agent is Janet Hummel of Town and Country Real Estate in Bridgehampton.
The Hamptons meets New York City? Apparently so, with the opening of a new boutique residential property called “Georgica.” Yes, this building on the Upper East Side, which is touted to feel “expansive, open, and airy,” is named after the Hamptons' one-and-only Georgica Pond. (Still, the Broker Breakdown blog asks, "Maybe 'The Main Beach' or 'The Two Mile Swallow' is next?) Though the building's residents may have to draw upon their imagination to take in that Hampton’s sea breeze, they might not feel too cramped as the building — developed by the Ascend Group — has only two to four units spanning more than 1,000 square feet per floor. Another Hampton similarity is the price tag: Units are going from about $1,750,000 to more than $4 million.
