"Princess Bride" star Cary Elwes and comedienne Sarah Silverman flew in from Los Angeles over the weekend to speak at a Water Mill benefit Saturday night for the Mercy Corps efforts in Darfur and its new "Action Center to End World Hunger."
Newly single and new to the Hamptons, Silverman delivered her own brand of sassy stand-up comedy at the benefit. Her eponymous show on Comedy Central returns Oct 16. “We’ve done ten episodes,” Silverman told us. “I can’t wait. They’re so good.”
What can we expect from a show that last season showed Silverman having an affair with a black God and being arrested for sexually abusing her tiny dog? “I sue Mongolia for rape,” she reveals. “I have a baby. I deal with bed wetting. I dump my friends and make new friends. I become homeless because I lost my keys.”
