Designer Isaac Mizrahi
We love Isaac Mizrahi for his spunky, upbeat personality. So it's a real shame that the designer's show this afternoon in midtown was the exact opposite.
Live string music provided dullness for the ears and yellow lighting on half the runway provided an excuse to let those lids get heavy.
Even Vogue's Anna Wintour seemed as though she couldn't pay attention during the 10-or-so-minute show. About halfway through, she pulled off her signature shades and started text-messaging on her silver phone.
The most exciting part was the end, both because it was over and because Isaac ran out along the runway waving to everyone.
Isaac's theme was "Swarm," effective because we were certainly bugged by this show.
