Hilary Swank enters the Jill Stuart melee
If looks could kill, the woman who stood in front of Hilary Swank at the Jill Stuart show would be long gone.
Swank, by far the most buzzed about celebrity at the show, arrived just before things got underway in the midst of an eight-man deep posse - and then proceeded to ignore the throngs of camera folk who struggled to snap a shot.
The Academy Award-winning actress casually chatted with the woman who stood with her back to the cameras - blocking the shot, of course - before security was called in to haul everyone away. Yowza!
There were rumors that Swank wouldn't pose for shots (per one veteran shutterbug), inciting a near-photographer riot: "No! no! no! That's not right!" one shouted.
Pre-Hilary, Vanessa Carlton made her appearance and noted that this was her first fashion show. The singer said she's a huge fan of the clothing line, adding, "The store is really close to my house."
Other celebs at the show: A svelte-looking Tyra Banks, who swam through a sea of media to locate her seat next to Nigel Barker, Amy Smart and maternity wear designer Liz Lange.
