On today's episode of "The Wendy Williams Show" on Fox, she and Omarosa got a little testy with one another. Fox couldn't get the video out fast enough as the network tries to turn Wendy into a national daytime talk show host.
If you've ever listened to Wendy's radio show, you know she'll say whatever she wants. This interview, which may or may not have been staged just to draw interest, gets heated early and then again around the 4-minute mark. Sadly, there was no "When keeping it real goes wrong" moment.
The view here is that this was scripted drama. It felt a little too staged. Fox wants to make a big splash and Omarosa was pitching her new book "The Bitch Switch." I may be wrong, I may be right. Who really knows? Who really cares?

Who really cares? They are both trash, and why is FOX promoting this show? Wendy is obnoxious. Is this really how we want the world to think this is how Blacks think and act? Who are the sponsors for this show so I'll be sure not to by THEIR products!

But just a little side note Wendy, you said that Pamela Anderson was born on July 11 on yesterday's show-- I'm a proud Canadian and so is Pam-- so just so you know she was born on July 1, 1967, which was Canada's 100th birthday (July 1 is equivalent to your July 4th). Thank God for women like Oprah and Soledad O'Brien (and Michelle Obama) who are true examples of women with real class. Wendy is just getting back some of the crap she gives. And for Oma, whatever..... She obviously is not making any money in her day job so she's playing up the bitch thing from The Apprentice (a looooonnnnnggg forgotten show).
All this talk about being a positive role model. Wake-up people, there are plenty of stand-up, well-to-do, positive Black or African-American role models (whichever you prefer). Do you think prime time television/media want this exposed, and risk defying the stereotypes America, and some blacks perpetuate? Do you think Wendy or Omarosa would have ever gained their celebrity by being something other than who the people they are today? Absolutely NOT, they only let black folks in one at a time and Oprah's got it. These women were smart enough to do what they needed to do, to get where they are today. KUDOS! If you are looking for a role model, look in the mirror, look at your friends, look at your family and look to be a role model to your children. Real talk, during my entire Wendy/Omarosa experience I have never heard either say they wanted to be a role model of any sort for blacks around the world. Take it for what it is ENTERTAINMENT, if you don’t like it change the channel.
Not really sure who Wendy Williams is, but we know Omorossa (sp? as if I care) makes her living by pretending to be the bad girl. heck, she's admitted as much in interviews. Whether Wendy knew about this is up for debate, but we all know Omorossa (Someone give her a nickname so I can stop caring abour whether I spell her name right.) knew what she was doing rigth from the start. She's a D lister that just won't die because she pulls stupid stunts like this and the news is all over it.

I agree with Real Talk, its just entertainment, take it for what it is, because neither one of them represent me as a strong black woman. Its just day time drama, something to blog about. Folks dont take it too serious.
It simply amazes me how people assume they know someone from seeing them on a (fake) reality show or a talk show or hearing them on the radio. These people are personalities & performers for entertainment. As someone who knows Omarosa on a personal level, I can honestly say that the person I know, not the personality that she portrays on tv. is smart, thoughtful, intelligent and willing to go out of her way to help others. I have known her for years and have always found her to be someone despite her tv persona to be well worth knowing. So don't get it twisted TV is full of performers who peform for entertainment and are well paid to do so.
Wendy Williams is very smart and worked hard to get where she is today. Read her autobio (book). She has great advice for young girls and actually represents all women. Joan Rivers does the same thing she does but when Wendy does it, people say it is a shame to blacks. Wendy has done what most blacks do: work hard with what they have. Read her autobio!

People need to quit giving Omarosa more than her 15 minutes of "fame". They were done when season one of the Apprentice was done. If everyone would just stop accepting her offer to appear on their show in order to fill time slots...she would just go away! Please - let her go away!

Oprah and Wendy are 2 different types of interviewers.. They didn't start off the same way so How could you compare them. Oprah never gossiped and lied about entertainers to get attention.The O was and is a true journalist if we can compare anyone to the O maybe Barbara Walters, but not Wendy. The O also will and has always tackled tough subjects such as Racism, rape, child molestions etc. She doesn't whisper about what star is sleeping with who, or who is gay. Wendy is best known and might I say only known for the way she attacks people. In ALL the preveiws of this episode that is exactly what they made it out to be. Omarosa was not on the defensive she was simply letting Wendy know that "she will not be disrespected" like ALL the other guests she has had on her show (radio/tv.) Do you even listen to the Wendy Willimas radio show? Do you have any facts based on your opinion? Ha! Wendy Williams-Hunter has been in this business for over 22 years. Her success speaks for it self. She has a successful radio show and Brand Name. She is a New York Times Best Selling author. She has a movie coming out. She has stock in and is the spokes model for a champagne company. I could go on. Who heard of a damn Omarosa before she was booted off of the show The Apprentice? I don't know Amarosa personally but if anyone could stand in judgment of this woman after just a 10 min. interview is insane. She is doing great things in her community and giving back. Isn't that what's really important??
As for Wendy, when her radio show first aired in my city, I found her to be quite annoying!! After meeting and hanging out with her at one of her B-Day bashes, I realized "She is really cool" a VERY nice person to be around!
So everyone, let's try to remember why we watch TV in the first place...ENTERTAINMENT!! Let's not be so quick to pass judgment on people that we quite frankly really don't know!
