Huntington company wins national award

JVKellyGroup, a Huntington professional-services firm, has won a U.S. Chamber of Commerce Blue Ribbon Small Business Award.

Fewer than 50 companies nationwide earned the recognition, which lauds companies for such things as financial performance, staff training and community involvement. JVKelly's specialities include purchasing, information technology and project management.

The award means the company can go on to compete for a regional award. Those winners then compete for the chamber’s Small Business of the Year Award.
