People have mixed reactions to the idea of wi-fi connections on planes. Wow, won't it great to be able tp use a cell phone while stuck on a plane, or surf the web! But then there's, wait a minute, what if the person next to me is yelling into the phone about his medical appointments for an hour? Or what if the person over there is watching, well, things, I don't want my child to happen to see?
Clearly, many feel, some sort of rules of the air will be needed (though the over and over announcements on the Long Island Rail Road asking people to speak softly on their phones doesn't seem to do too much).
So even though wi-fi in the air is in its infancy, the clamor for etiquette is getting loud.

Business travelers and others want to make calls during flight, and airlines and wireless companies want to make revenue from this service, but most people onboard don’t want to be bothered by people yapping while they fly. So, why not have the airlines pass a rule that says you can use your cell phone during fight, but only if you use a Conversation Privatizer like device? See www.ZipItInc.com. This makes a Win-Win-Win situation for ALL!
